Challenges
The shot on the skateboard was a story of its own. We had to find a way to rig the camera to the skateboard in a way that it wouldn't fall apart when we were using it on the street. After many attemps, we were able to find a solution and rig it properly.
During the actual shot, the actress was holding two members of the crew by the arm so we could keep the rig in place while shooting her feet in movement.
Final thoughts
The project had a very tight budget, lean crew, and only one shooting day. Zach was incredibly efficient with the crew's time throughout the process, and the whole environment was uplifiting and exciting.
